The Bucknell University Alumni Association is excited to announce the addition of seven new members to its Board of Directors. This group of talented and committed alumni come from different parts of the country, diverse backgrounds, and varying class years spanning several generations of Bucknellians.
Douglas Bonner ’80 lives in Bethesda, Maryland, and is a Partner with the Potomac Law Group where he focuses his legal practice on representing clients in the telecommunications industry, among others. Douglas will bring his extensive legal experience and a passion for Bucknell to the Alumni Board of Directors and will serve on the Development and Constituent Engagement Committee.
Abbey Daugherty ’12 is a communications professional living in New York, New York. Following her graduation from Bucknell, Abbey was hired by Tommy Hilfiger. Her hard work quickly resulted in her being recruited by Tommy Hilfiger’s parent corporation, PVH Corp., where she is a valued member of the company’s communications team. The Alumni Board is excited to have Abbey and her experience on the Communications Committee.
Jeffrey Dorst ’90 joins the Alumni Board as a member of the Communications Committee. Hailing from Chappaqua, New York, Jeffrey works as a Director for Houlihan Lokey in its New York office as a member of the Capital Markets Group with extensive experience in liability management. As a loyal member of the alumni community, Jeffrey is a welcome addition to the Alumni Board and the Communications Committee.
Barbara Gasper ’76 of Darien, Connecticut, is a senior finance executive at MasterCard where she is the Executive Vice President for Investor Relations. Barbara, whose professional accomplishments earned her the 2014 IR Magazine Lifetime Achievement Award, will return to Lewisburg as a member of the Alumni Board’s Finance and Strategic Planning Committee.
Timothy Pennise ’99 is a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services, who counsels individuals and families on financial planning and growth. Timothy’s enthusiasm and leadership as a volunteer with the Bucknell Club of Chicago is now brought to the Alumni Board of Directors where Timothy will serve on the Career Advisory Committee.
Margaret Samek-Smith ’88 brings her decades of experience in business development, strategic planning, and growth management to the Alumni Board of Directors. Meg is the Regional Director of Sales – Government Initiatives for OffSite Vision Holdings, a security firm. Meg lives in Annapolis, Maryland, and is a member of the Alumni Board’s Clubs & Young Alumni Committee.
Stacy Wolin ’87, a long time and dedicated member of the Bucknell Engineering Alumni Association (BEAA) Board of Directors, now joins the Alumni Board of Directors as a member of the Career Advisory Committee. Stacy is from Bridgewater, New Jersey, and is a Product Manager for AT&T Business Cloud Services.
The Bucknell University Alumni Association is honored to have these distinguished, accomplished and loyal alumni join its Board of Directors to help further the mission of the Alumni Association to represent alumni, engage Bucknellians, and promote and enhance Bucknell University. Each of these volunteers will serve a four-year term on the Alumni Board working to accomplish the goals and manage the affairs of the Bucknell Alumni Association. Congratulations to these new members of the Alumni Board of Directors!
